Meet Balthazar! (The coolest angel on SPN who needs to come back ASAP!) Click here for a link to his application. He was just recently resurrected after having been killed by Castiel. Balthazar, for the most part, is a selfish angel. He tries to stay out of the messes others try to bring him into but, every now and then, he just can't stay away. It was helping the Winchester brothers out that was the reason Castiel felt the need to kill him. Balthazar loves to joke around and sarcasm is his favorite language to speak. He doesn't like humans all that much but he does love to make the most of his life on Earth, enjoying all of the alcohol and women that Earth can offer him. He doesn't like being ordered around and prefers to do whatever he feels like doing instead, even if it means doing things like unsinking the Titanic because he hates "My Heart Will Go On."
His angelic powers are the following:
-He can possess any living being if they give him their consent
-He's stronger than the strongest human being and most monsters and demons
-He can teleport to anywhere (and to any time but that's more difficult) he wants to
-He can move living beings and objects with his mind
-He can read people's minds
Just as important as his powers, here are his weaknesses:
-Touching holy fire would kill him
-Places protected by enochian warding spells he can't enter into
-Hex bags can be used to prevent him for being able to find/detect someone
-Some of the higher demons could kill him
-There's an exorcist chant that's not well known but could send him back to Heaven
-An angel blade, various weapons from Heaven, and Leviathans could kill him
Balthazar is really never in one place long enough to make friends and the only angel he was ever that close to was Castiel but then Castiel went off the deep end and ended up killing him so that friendship is pretty screwed up at the moment. His sarcastic and mainly self-serving attitude can make him hard to like but let me know if you could see your character and him getting along. Balthazar will be trying even harder these days to stay out of heavenly squabbles so most of the enemies he makes will be those beings currently on Earth and those people and other beings he refuses to help. I don't have any specific ideas in mind here but drama is always fun so I'm open to listening to anything you may think of. As for lovers...Well, unlike most angels, Balthazar doesn't mind the pleasures that can accompany being in a human vessel. I don't see him falling for anyone so harmless flirting and short-term type of things are all that I'm looking for here or wild nights like his ménage à...what's French for twelve?
I promise you that no idea will be too crazy for me so plot away with whatever may be floating around inside your head! :)

I hope we can be acquaintances again, despite how I killed you. I'm used to everyone hating me at this point since I let the Leviathans surface to my stupid mistake.

Balthazar & Castiel:
He's not going to be in the least bit happy to see Cas again. I'm sure he'll have plenty of angry words to throw in his sibling's face and making up with him will be a long and hard road for the both of them. Balthazar probably doesn't have it in him to get near the level their friendship was at pre-Cas killing him, nor do I think he'll ever be able to fully forgive Cas, but I'm sure Cas will be able to at least convince Balthazar not to kill him.

That's true, their friendship will never be the same. Though, Cas will try to mend the relationship as much as possible and explain his entire situation, whether or not Balthazar has sympathy for him is up to you. He'll attempt to regain his trust and full friendship once again. Since they'll need to fight side by side again. Of course, he'll drag him into issues that he never wants to be in.

Balthazar & Castiel:
I personally hope that they'll become friends again but I will have to wait and see just how convincing Cas is before I can say for sure that Balthazar will start to trust him again. Just give me a shout when Cas gets out of Purgatory because I would love to thread these two together ASAP!

Caroline && Balthazar I'm really not sure what the two of them would have to do with each other but I can always offer her up. Lexi && Balthazar Only thing I can think of is that they were both resurrected and they both seem to love a good party. All and all I just couldn't resist posting here. Balthazar is one of my fave spn characters.  |

I can't think of much for these two either right now, but I will keep her in mind and let you know if I do ever come up with anything!
Balthazar & Lexi:
There is every possibility these two will run into each other at some party somewhere. I see no reason why they couldn't become friends. I don't know how she feels about being brought back from the dead, but Balthazar will probably rant and complain to her about his fellow angels.

Yes! Friends for sure! It would do her good to get an angel on her side and hoping that he could give her some answers to why she was back. She'd let him rant about the angels as long as she gets to rant about how stupid most vampires are. I can definitely see them as drinking buds.

Drinking buddy friends who rant about how much they generally hate other members of their species to each other sounds good to me! We can get these two going whenever you want to. I'm going out of town soon but will be back sometime tomorrow. You can start something for them in the meantime or I could get something up in the next few days. And I can have Balthazar pop up wherever so the location doesn't matter to me!
