Alex rubbed his chin thoughtfully as he took in Brielle’s explanation of most angels’ view of humans. “Well, that makes sense, I suppose. Isn’t jealousy a human emotion, though? Do other angels really express human emotions?” he asked, just now realizing how little he knew of God’s angels. They were so very different than the way he had always pictured. “Well, if you have any questions about humanity, I would be happy to answer them for you,” he said, with a slight nod of his head.
“Strawberry would have to be my favorite,” said Alex nodding with a smile,”I actually know this lovely little diner down the street a little bit – they have the best milkshakes there. Toby’s, have you been there?” He definitely had a craving for a milkshake now – or at least something sweet. Alex had a rather powerful sweet tooth.
He raised his eyebrows at her comment. “Demons. They’re…real, then?” he asked, although he already knew the answer. He always had a suspicion that the creatures were real, but he never wanted to accept it. It just seemed like such a horrible possibility and he found himself wanting to be in blissful ignorance.
His shoulders slumped slightly when he heard what Brielle said. “Yes, yes,” he said, laughing at himself,”I – I knew that.” With all of the family’s research, there was no way that he would not have been able to come across that fact. Alex just got caught up in the fact that he was speaking to an angel. A smile slowly replaced itself on his face as he looked down at her. She really was quite beautiful. “You wouldn’t change it for anything? Really?” he asked, the grin broadening on his face,”No one’s ever quite put it like that before.”

Gabrielle merely shrugged at his questions about angels. She didn’t mind answering questions about them, mainly because apparently humans here on earth had a lot of questions about them. Yet, Brielle had many questions for him too. She guessed that was the thing about humans and their emotions. There was always that sense of curiosity. Brielle liked that, that was one of the main things that she loved humans so much. Their sense of adventure. “Well, I am sure that any angel is capable of human emotion. They just prefer to tune it out. Me on the other had it was kind of amplified when I was created. So, I was more human than the others. Made it easier to comfort those I needed to heal instead of scaring them away. I just felt too much I guess. In the end the other angels rejected me except one. His name is Castiel. I wish I knew where my brother was right now.” She sighed, oh how she missed him so. Yet it didn’t change her mood, she was still happy that someone was talking to her. Swinging slightly while gripping the bottom of her dress. “Oh I have lots of questions, but I do not want to scare you away. If you want I can answer anything for you. “
She liked how he enjoy milkshakes just as much as he did. “Strawberry? Never tried it. If it’s as good as Banana then it must be something to try. Toby’s huh? Hold on one second.” With that Gabrielle disappeared, leaving only a small noise of flapping feathers. It was only about a minute when she reappeared in the corner again, holding two strawberry milkshakes. “I don’t think Mr. Toby would mind if I borrowed these. Well not borrow exactly since I do not intent of getting them back.” She grinned, holding out a glass and a spoon to him. There was already a straw in the shake. She made sure it had lots of whip cream and a cherry on top. She merely disregarded the question about demons. She didn’t want to talk about them. That wasn’t a very happy subject at all.
“Of course I think so. You are very interesting. Just because you are a werewolf, it doesn’t mean anything. You are still human in the inside. Plus it makes you different. I’m different and I like it. I like you…”

[/img] Alex listened intently to what Brielle had to say regarding the angels. It seemed that angels were not exactly the loving, forgiving beings that he had learned about in Sunday school. “ They – they rejected you? Merely because you expressed emotions?” he asked, raising his eyebrows, surprised. This whole discussion really brought him back to those very first memories in the church – Sunday school to be specific, when he first learned what angels were. The Sunday school teachers described them as servants of the Lord with the stereotypical appearance of being winged. He wondered now how much even the pastor at his church actually knew about angels. “ Er…no! No, ask away. I’d be happy to answer whatever you’re curious about,” he said with a smile and a nod of his head. He was about to respond to her comments when she suddenly disappeared. Alex glanced about the room, as if expecting her to be in one of the corners of the room. Just as he was about to give up and return to his desk to do some paperwork, Brielle reappeared, holding two strawberry milkshakes. A grin burst across his face as she handed one of the milkshakes to him, which he happily took. “ Why, thank you!” he said with a nod as he took a sip of the treat. He couldn’t help but laugh slightly at the thought of Tobias’ face, the owner of the diner, when he realized that two of his milkshakes, along with some dishware had gone missing. Tobias was a very gruff man in his mid-forties and he would probably be close to thinking he’d gone crazy. “ Well? How do you like it?” he asked curiously. He’d had a bit of a self-esteem issue ever since he had accidentally been bitten by a werewolf. Alex normally didn’t really mind what people thought of him, but it was difficult thinking that way when he knew that there was a murderous beast locked inside him. He found himself grinning at her last comment. “ Well, thank you!” he said, using the spoon to pick up the cherry from his milkshake,” I like you, too. We seem to get along nicely, don’t we?”[/blockquote]
