Jessica’d had some time to adjust to the news of all these supernatural creatures that truly excited in the world. She wasn’t quite sure if she truly believed what the man name dCastiel had told her After all, she’d never met the man before, but there were certain things he’d said that just would not allow her to shake the memory of the meeting with him. He knew her name, the fact that she had died, what had killed her (which she didn’t know herself) but most of all, he personally knew Sam and Dean and her relationship with them.
However, for the time being, she decided that she would not allow this new information to shatter her world, especially when she wasn’t completely sure if it was true. She had decided to focus on her job more than anything now because honestly, that was all that she really had going for her. Her job was what was important to her, after all. She didn’t have too many friends just yet in her regained life, and to be completely honest, she found herself being a bit nervous to get too close to someone. Jessica wasn’t completely sure what her role in the world was now, regarding why she had been brough back.
That’s what brought her to the forest. Being the children’s librarian, she was in charge of teaching and entertaining the children. On this particular week, she decided to teach the children about different kinds of trees, so she was in the forest, collecting leaves to show the children when they came to the library.

Ruby had been given a second chance, a second lease on life. Even more so now that she was a human instead of a demon. Lucifer had tricked her, the evil bastard that he was. She was no longer loyal to him, and decided to right her wrongs. Ruby was mostly doing it for herself, mainly because she didn’t want to end back up in hell. Not only that but she had done a lot of wrong in the universe, basically bringing the whole end of the world thing to light. Apparently, there was a thing called Karma, because it really was biting her in the ass.
Apparently she had never made any friends back as a demon. Everyone pretty much hated her. Everyone except one person that is. The angel named Castiel. While everyone cast her down, he was the only one willing to help her, willing to keep an eye on her. Even though she was grateful for what he was doing for her, she hated the fact that she was pretty much utterly alone in this new land. Her heart was no exception to this.
Sam Winchester probably had no clue that she was back. Castiel promised that he would not tell him that she was, and she made pretty damn sure that she was never seen by him. That didn’t mean she didn’t see him though. Ruby had been watching him, when she wasn’t busy hunting one monster or another in Mystic Falls. Regardless of what had happened, Ruby had still loved him. In fact, she felt terrible for what she had done. Too bad she didn’t know how to apologize. Yeah, like that would ever happen. She didn’t know how to do that without sounding like a complete smart ass. Not only that but he wasn’t alone anymore. He had that dead chick, well she was dead. Apparently his ex-fiance decided to rise from the dead too. Ruby had already seen them together at some stupid thing called Winter Wonderland. They were so cute she wanted to puke.
So, she couldn’t help herself. Ruby had followed the blonde bimbo into the forest. Apparently she was collecting leaves or something for her class. She taught kids. There was nothing more evil in the world than children. Ruby hated them, almost as much as she hated being stabbed by her own knife. However, she guessed Jessica wasn’t aware of what things lurked in the forest. She was pretty much a walking appetizer. Nothing more, she was too skinny to be an actual meal. Debating on whether or not to kick this girls ass, Ruby stepped behind her as she was picking up leaves.
“So you are the one that caught Sam Winchester’s eye. Well I guess it wasn’t exactly like that, seeing as you were engaged to him, you know, before you died.” Ruby smirked, crossing her arms over her chest. She leaned up against one of the trees, her eyes narrowing at the woman. She wasn’t going to get close, at least not yet. The girl better not run either, that would simply piss her off more, human or not. “You know. Not very safe to come to the forest alone. Even during the day. You pretty much have a target on your back if your dating one of the Winchesters. Then again, do you even know about anything? Probably not. Sam does like to keep his secrets.”
