Interaction between the characters is incredibly important when you're posting because that gives the other person something to reply to. No one likes to reply to a post that is three paragraphs detail and one sentence dialogue, for example.

Having a conversation thread every once in awhile can be fun and relaxing, but for the most part, people want things to actually happen in threads!
