Elizabeth was wondering the woods as always after school. She always went to the forest after school because she loves nature. Being an elf was to say the least not easy with the tings her parents thought her. Even though her parents thought her she was never a fast learner and she had a hard time in the archery academy she was sent to but lucky for her she likes to read.
She can read up to 5 books a day if she had the time. She might not be a fast learner but definitely a fast reader. As an elf she was always drawn to nature and animals and love them and to understand them. Today in the woods she was practicing her archery. She put up a few targets then took aim and fired. She missed a few times but kept on practicing not focused on her surroundings.
When she doesn't focus on surroundings she is always open for a sneak attack but when she is, she'll be very tricky to beat in a fight. The forest and nature was her element where she controlled the battle. Even as a kid she loved nature and uncontrollably climbed trees, mountains, swam in rivers and dams with the fishes in them. She was to others a weird kid even if she could hide her ears. Even if she did hide them people almost avoid her maybe one or two would talk to her. Elizabeth was convinced by all the avoiding the people were doing that she wasn't going to find her loved one and start a family.

[/img] Charlie had settled into a nice, peaceful life in Mystic Falls. No Leviathans. Absolutely nothing supernatural at all…from what she could tell. She was definitely more aware of the strange things that existed in the world, thanks to her run-in with Sam and Dean Winchester. She wanted nothing to do with it, though. All she wanted to do was just go on fixing computers for people and hacking into government sites so she could donate money. Completely normal stuff! Little did she know that not only did she not escape the supernatural creatures, she moved to a town that was absolutely filled with them. Nice going, Charlie. It was late afternoon and the sun was warming the usually cold day. Charlie’s shift at the computer repair place had just ended and it was a major relief that she did. She loved helping people, but some of the customers that came into the shop were pretty annoying. The last guy that she had to help was frustrated because he couldn’t figure out how to turn on his computer. Granted, he was an older guy, probably in his 60s or 70s, but the power button was right on the front. Charlie almost felt guilty taking these people’s money. Almost. As usual, Charlie decided to take a shortcut through a forest to get back home, where a nice game of League of Legends was waiting for her. She paused randomly in her walking to dance with her eyes closed. After all, it was a forest! There was no one else around. However, she paused when she heard a sound from behind her, past the music coming from the headphones. She was understandably a bit paranoid after the whole thing with the Leviathans, so she took off running. Because she was glancing back to see if anything was chasing her, she wasn’t watching where she was going. “ Oof!” she said, as she hit something and fell to the ground. Charlie looked up to see that it was a young woman. “ Ah! Sorry! I’m sorry! Are you-are you okay?”[/blockquote]

"Ouch" Elizabeth said as she hit the ground hard. She stood up and see a young woman who must have bumped into her. when she heard her apology Elizabeth sighed. "It's alright, I'm fine" Elizabeth said and went to check her target only to have missed it. She must have let the arrow go when the woman bumped into her. "My name's Elizabeth and who are you?" Elizabeth asked curious about the human. If there is one thing Elizabeth was curious about was the humans. Her parents warned her not to tell them that she's an elf and to hide her ears around them.
She listened to her parents but it was easy said than done though because Elizabeth has to concentrate on hiding her ears. She was alone in the forest so she let them out and forgot about them, not realizing that the woman might see them. Elizabeth went to her targets and picked up the arrows she could get without breaking them, she managed to get four out and the rest of the 10 were either stuck in trees or broken. She loved archery and wouldn't stop no matter who said what. Elizabeth went back and took up another target, aimed and fired and shot it in the left of the target. Not satisfied, she tried again and again until she would get it in the middle of the target. One thing her parents told her over and over was to try again and to never give up even if it seems hopeless.

[/img] Charlie pulled herself to her feet and brushed the leaves, sticks and other things that had latched onto her from the forest floor. She looked up from her job of cleaning herself up when she heard the girl walking somewhere. “ Don’t worry about it; I’m fine, too,” she said, standing up straight and shrugging her shoulders. Sure, the whole incident may have been Charlie’s fault, but hey, where was the courtesy? “ Oh, Charlie! I’m Charlie,” she said, shaking her head slightly and extending her hand to fulfill the proper introduction. There was something sort of strange about this woman. Charlie couldn’t quite place her finger on it. She had a sort of otherworldly beauty. Maybe she was some sort of exotic model that Charlie had seen in a magazine somewhere…the rare time that Charlie read a magazine that didn’t have something to do with anything that fit in the “nerdy” category. She tossed her long, red hair over her shoulder and watched where the other girl was walking. Her mouth dropped when she realized what the girl was doing. “ Oh my God, archery?” she said, walking towards the girl, excited. She had wanted to learn archery ever since she’d seen it done in Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. The girl was obviously very accomplished in the art of archery. Charlie was jealous. “ How long have you been doing that?” she asked, curiously. Maybe if she asked nicely, the girl would teach her a tip or two? [/blockquote]

Elizabeth flinched a little when she heard Charlie say something about archery. She didn't think that any humans would be interested in it and Charlie was interesting for a human but Elizabeth hid her ears deciding that she might or might not reveal who she truly is when she feel if she could trust the woman. "Uhm I have been doing it since I was a child like 5 or 6 years old. I don't remember it that well anymore and my parents trained me first for like maybe 11 or 12 years. I lost count." Elizabeth said with a smile.
She went back to her position and tried to fire another arrow and missed her target. For some reason Elizabeth can't concentrate very well when people that she doesn't know is around her. That tends to happen very often. Her parents were very patient with her even when she got on their nerves when they were teaching her but what do you expect from a non fast learner and they knew that she might be a challenge. And they welcome a challenge. One thing that the Raye family loved was challenges and got themselves in a lot of trouble too especially Elizabeth.
Again she lined up and arrow and fired it at the target again only to miss a few inches from the middle of it. Sighing she did it again and again until she finally got it in the middle. "The one thing you can't do in archery is give up. It takes practice in order to get skilled" Elizabeth said to the woman. She could tell that she was interested so why not teach her too. There shouldn't be any harm in it.

The first thing that popped into Charlie’s mind when the girl mentioned being trained was the elves in Lord of the Rings. Okay, actually, the whole entire thing just reminded her of Lord of the Rings: the forest, the girl, the whole archery thing. It was awesome.
The girl actually really reminded Charlie of one of the elves in Lord of the Rings…but she probably shouldn’t say that. Usually when she made some sort of reference to one of her fandoms, people just gave her that stupid judgey look. Charlie hated judgment, unless she was the one passing it.
“Wow, that’s so – awesome!” she said, pausing in her speech to try to find the proper word. Awesome. It was the only one that seemed to really fit. She’d never met anyone that did actual archery before. And if they did, they always had something that helped them along with it. Charlie eyed the wooden, old-looking bow in the girl’s hands. This was legit.
She stepped back a bit when the girl continued to practice. Charlie watched carefully and frowned when the girl missed. Maybe she was nervous? She watched the girl repeatedly miss her target until she finally hit it. Even though the girl missed a few times, she still made it look so easy!
“Yeah, well, practice does make perfect, after all,” said Charlie, nodding and smiling. She stared at the bow for a moment. “I dunno if this is too weird or not, since we…y’know, just met and all, but…think you might…maybe be able to give me a little lesson?” she asked, hopefully.

Elizabeth was completely surprised by what the woman asked her. She was a human but they could learn to but she knew her parents wouldn't approve it. Still she had a good heart and decided to help her but only on one condition. "Alright I will teach you but on one condition. You meet me here everyday the same time as today and it must be kept a secret. Also it would help if you had your own bows and arrows if you don't I can try to sneak some away but that would be a risk. I'm doing this because my parents would never approve of this. Now for your first lesson is don't slouch when you shoot. Stand straight and tall and keep your bow aline with your shoulder so that it's easy to shoot. It would take some time to get used to it." Elizabeth said.
She couldn't believe what she was doing but as she told her how to do it she showed her too. Elizabeth did both methods so that the woman can understand what she was talking about. Even Elizabeth doesn't understand what the teacher is talking about and asked them to show her so she could try to understand it better with helps her a lot even if it is embarrassing to asked it. Since it's been a year the teachers demonstrate while talking for Elizabeth's sake and for others. It helped Elizabeth improve her grades somehow and the teachers noticed it and decided that what Elizabeth asked would help the rest of the class and decided on that method.

[/img] Charlie’s jaw dropped when the girl agreed to teach her. However, her emotion of happiness slowly turned to dread and then it transferred to confusion. She was excited that the girl had agreed to teach her, but she definitely didn’t want to come back to this forest. The forest was just creepy, there were weird sounds coming from the darker parts of the forest and well, who knew what could be lurking deeper in the forest? The whole incident with the Leviathans had really set Charlie for a spin. Monsters. These monsters were real! If she could help it, she would just stay away from all supernatural things completely. But…how was she to know what beings were supernatural? After all, so many of them looked just like humans and they could blend in so well. “ Whoa, whoa, whoa,” she said, putting her hands in front of her, cutting into the other girl’s speech as she seemed to continue talking without a breath,” Time out.” Charlie took a breath and sighed, trying to figure out which part of the little speech she should reference first. “ First of all, you’re awesome for offering to give me multiple lessons, but I’d really rather not come back to this forest. Ever. It’s creepy. Second of all…why would your parents care if you teach me archery?” she asked, raising an eyebrow,” How old are you?”[/blockquote]

"For one thing my parents hates humans and never associates with them. Their very ........ traditional." Elizabeth said. "If you have a better place that we can train where no one can see us then I'm open for suggestions but the forest is all I could think of." Elizabeth said and while she waited for the human to think about it she went back to practicing but a little more advance. Elizabeth fires the arrow and manages it to spin in mid air before it hit the target although it hit the tree instead. Elizabeth sigh and retrieved the arrow from the tree. At least she manages to get the spinning right.
Right now Elizabeth had nothing to do but practice over and over again until the human gave her an answer but she wondered that is she showed her true self if the girl would still be willing to learn or not. But since she might be her only friend so far she wasn't going to risk it then. she only hopes that if she finds out that she would be able to forgive her in the end but until then she was going to keep it a secret until then. she kept on firing many other techniques and when she thought about it, it was going to be a long day for her when she starts teaching the human but when they are going to begin is up to the human but it might be right away since she's eager to learn.

[/IMG] Charlie laughed slightly at what Elizabeth said. “ What? Your parents hate humans? I mean, sure, people can be kind of annoying, but –” she said, cutting herself off as her grin slowly slid off of her face. Oh, God. It was happening again. She honestly and genuinely just wanted to stay out of this whole supernatural business. It was definitely cool in the movies, books, and video games that she was so obsessed with, but when it came to real life, she liked things to be a little…normal. If she actually had some way to protect herself, that might be a different story, but she didn’t. Besides, Charlie had yet to meet a supernatural creature that didn’t want to either eat her or use her for her technical talents. Or as a way to contact the Winchesters, which was just annoying. She didn’t necessarily hate the Winchesters, but she didn’t want to get involved in all of that saving the world stuff if she didn’t absolutely have to and…it seemed like that were pretty obsessed with it. It was good for them and everything, but she would much rather stay out of it. She was pretty fond of the whole living thing, after all. “ Y-you’re not human?” asked Charlie, raising her eyebrows as she slowly backed away from the girl. She knew that Elizabeth was too pretty to be human! Why did she have to take this shortcut again? “ What are you?” she asked, continuing to back away.[/blockquote]
