Jessica had slowly but surely settled into her new life. It wasn’t perfect. There were still things missing from her life, and she was at a complete loss as to just what had happened to her. She remembered the fire and she definitely remembered the pain but she had no idea who or what had brought her back. And even more so, she couldn’t figure out if it was a good thing or a bad thing.
After all, it wasn’t just everyday that someone is brought back from the dead. In fact, she’d never heard of it in real life, but in stories when people were brought back from the dead, it was because they had something important to do with their re-gained life. Jessica just couldn’t figure out if she was supposed to do something or if she had been brought back for other reasons.
One thing that had helped to keep her somewhat sane in this whole ordeal was her faith. She didn’t know if God had something to do with bringing her back or not, but she knew that He probably had the answers. Either way, her faith was something that really comforted her through everything that was happening in her life at the current time.
This is what led her to the church, Fell’s Church to be completely accurate. It was a pleasant little church and was almost reminiscent of the one room school houses of yore, where the building was mostly just one room. She carefully opened the door and slid inside. The chapel was empty, so she slowly walked to the front, the wooden boards creaking under her feet. Jessica carefully lowered herself into one of the pews and clasped her hands together to pray.

Back from the future and retrieving Sage Winchester to fight along with the Winchester brothers, he had left her with the Winchesters who were currently in Kansas, their hometown for some hunting business they had to attend to. Even once Dean was straight out of purgatory, he always went back to hunting right away. It was a feature Castiel admired in Dean, his endless persistence. Once Castiel had arrived before them he had to explain to everything that the Leviathans had planned, and Castiel had much to do in order to get prepared. He even let them know about the resurrection spell and about the blood of those individuals that Castiel now had to protect. There was then talk by Sam about Jessica, if she was brought back and Castiel hadn’t been sure about where she was. Dean asked about Jo Harvelle, but Castiel couldn’t be sure about her whereabouts either, of course the first people in question for the both of them was their parents, Mary and John Winchester. Who were indeed alive, but they were unable to be seen by Castiel for now.
Castiel then left the brothers and their descendent together while Castiel arrived in the blink of an eye in Mystic Falls, Virginia. His eyes wandered around the small town, wondering how a human with such valuable blood ended up in this small town. But sometimes the most important things and people were in plain sight, and never even knew. Castiel though, know all about Elena Gilbert and how the town itself was also a supernatural sideshow who most citizens were aware about, though some remained oblivious to the hidden matters in the town. Their last problem, Klaus and the Originals had subsided for now, and Castiel had to be the one to announce that there was actually more danger headed their way and it was a serious matter. As his eyes wandered, a voice, so strong and somehow familiar ringed in his head. It was a prayer, Castiel’s eyes wandered to the source of the prayer, it was in the church, where prayers to the angels were at their loudest.
Bewildered, Castiel flashed behind the female in the church, who was all by herself between the pews. Blinking a few times, his head cocked to the side as he remained silent and then the voice triggered in his mind. Sam’s past...why he became a hunter with his brother in the first place...She was Jessica Moore, but she was supposed to be dead! Castiel then witnessed the first evidence that the rumors of the Leviathans were actually truth. Castiel then walked up closer to her, completely visible, but silent. ”You're prayers have been answered...you're Jessica Moore? It was a start to mention her name and if it was her, then they had a lot to discuss. And how he had appeared out of no where and claimed to be an angel by hearing her prayers, she might be a bit frightened. From what Castiel could see in Sam’s past, she had no idea about the supernatural that her ex-fiance had dealt with in the past and put behind him when he met her. Though why was she in Mystic Falls? Was she drawn here by some means? Castiel didn’t mind calling out her complete name, he was a bold individual. And if she would run off screaming, then he’d have to explain, he did that to people. Though, he was intending on telling her everything...the reason she couldn’t remember why she was back from the dead. Her prayer said it all. Castiel stood only a few feet away from her, in the isles, waiting for a response.

[/img] Jessica clasped her hands together and closed her eyes tightly, thinking that might help her concentrate on the prayer. The prayer may have been somewhat vague, but she prayed for answers. She wanted to know what had happened to her, why she had been brought back, maybe even why she had been killed, and perhaps if there was something she was meant to be doing now that she was alive again. There were so many questions that she was tossing around in her mind, not knowing how to find the answers to them. Jessica had done her best to pull the pieces of her shattered life back together, but things still felt a bit unsettled and she felt like she couldn’t completely let people into her life as she was now. She had thought about getting a hold of her family, but thought better of it. After all, what would they think when their daughter, who had been dead for six years, suddenly appeared on their doorstep. Jessica missed her family terribly, but she knew it would be best to not let them into her new life. She would just have to get along by herself, but she’d been getting along alright so far, so there shouldn’t really be a problem, right? Jessica jumped, startled when she heard a voice from behind her. She froze when the person said her name, though. Ever so carefully, Jessica turned around in the pew and rested her hand on the back. There was a man standing there in a trench coat, looking at her. From what she could recall, she’d never met him before. “ Who are you? Do I know you?” she asked, narrowing her eyes, feeling uneasy that this strange man knew her name. He looked harmless enough, but looks could certainly be deceiving. [/blockquote]

Castiel heard the prayers of the woman as she requested answers from the messengers of heaven, which was to be expected from an individual who was brought back from the dead and not even knowing where to go or why or even how she came to live again. Castiel was going to answer these questions, but first, they had to get past introductions which Castiel wasn’t too fond of. Humans got to caught up in names and occupations before they could properly affiliate with another human, it all seemed unneeded. Castiel then stood his ground and watched after her spoke to the girl, how she jumped in her seat at the mention of her name. The female turned around to look at him, blonde/brown curled locks surrounded her face as she watched him with questioning eyes.
She had questioned who he was and if she knew him with narrowed eyes. There arose her contemplation. ”Honestly, I am angel of the Lord. My name is Castiel and no we have no met before, but I know you. And I know Sam and Dean Winchester.” If he mentioned his affiliation to Sam and Dean, maybe she’d be more persuaded to feel safe around him and actually listen to his words. But I also have the answers that you want, of why you were brought back from the dead.” Castiel would wait until she felt safe around Cas before he took a seat next to her and could explain everything. ”I have a lot of explain to you. You live in a very supernatural world....yes, supernatural. Creatures such as vampire, werewolves, angels, demons and all else exists. It’s real and a group of those creatures is responsible for your resurrection.

[/img] Jessica quickly stood up and pulled her Bible close to her chest when she heard the man mention the Winchesters. She had done her best to not allow herself to think about Sam at all ever since she had been brought back. Jessica had no idea what he would be doing now, but she was sure that he had most likely moved on, when she hadn’t. It was as if her death had occurred just yesterday because she was still very much in love with the Winchester boy. “ Y-you know Sam?” she asked, putting her hand to her throat. The mention of Dean’s name didn’t jar her quite as much, since she’d only met him once. She felt like there was being so much thrown at her at once. An angel of the Lord? “ A real angel?” Jessica had always been a very devout Christian, but she had never really believed that angels really interacted with the humans on earth. Or at least, not to the extent that this one was. “ You do? Well, why was I brought back?” she asked, slightly irritated that the angel seemed to be just stringing her along, instead of really giving her any answers. Jessica paused at what Castiel said next. She shook her head and blinked. It made her think about the night that she had been killed. Jessica knew that she hadn’t died by natural causes. She distinctly remembered the way she had been raised up the ceiling by some imaginary force. Jessica really didn't want to believe that such horrible things like demons really existed. " That's...kind of a lot to take in," she said, brushing some blonde curls out of her face.[/blockquote]

At Castiel’s mention of having known the Winchesters, her bodily movements made it clear that he had hit a sensitive spot in her memories. That was exactly what effect Castiel hoped to have on the female, since it would perhaps bring her to trust him and listen to him a bit closely if she could call him an acquaintance of her old fiance. It was a tragedy of what had happened to Jessica because of the yellow-eyed demon, and that would have been the last thing she would have remembered, including Sam Winchester. A small and slender hand was raised to her throat, signaling that his name struck a few chords or so in her heart and mind, just what Castiel needed to be able to reach to her. ”Yes, I know Sam Winchester. He’s been through a lot since you’ve been gone. He no longer desires to attend college and become a lawyer.” He was not sure how much more he should continue into Sam’s current life because maybe it was Sam’s place to tell her....
Then a few words stammered out of her mouth that came with the shock that everyone got when they first met an angel in person right before their eyes. Jessica questioned the fact of him being a real angel and Castiel just kept silent and nodded before looking down to his body. ”This is not my true form, this is a vessel who wanted to be inhabited by an angel.” That idea may not make sense to her, but for now, he just told her things as they truly were. Castiel noted that she was brought back for a reason and he knew exactly why and of course she wanted to know why as she asked him as if it was proof that he was truly an angel with all of the answers. She seemed a bit irritated, but he was not going to just say everything without her being truly ready and prepared mentally for it. After explaining that the world was filled with supernatural beings and creatures, she had calmed down as Castiel could sense a slight fear rushing over her.
”You were brought back by one of those supernatural creatures, called Leviathans. Leviathans were the first beasts God created and realizing that they would end up killing every other creation of God, he placed them in purgatory. But recently, they escaped....mainly to my mistake.” His head lowered as well as his tone, he hated to admit that the Leviathans on earth was due to his huge mistake, one he would eventually have to pay for in the end. ”I tried to play God...but that is a story for another time. Anyway, these Leviathans as of lately, have used a witch to do a resurrection spell to help lure to Winchesters off of them with some distractions. These dead being brought back include their enemies as well as everyone else. Reason being why you’re brought back. But you can think of it as a second chance...” He paused before looking back up to her once again. ”The yellow eyed demon is dead...the one that killed you.” He hoped that bit of information would give her confidence about living again and not in fear that death may hit her again.
”It is a lot to take in...but it is the world that you live in. One that most humans are oblivious about. But Sam has been exposed to it his entire life...and now he continues to be a hunter of these beasts.” Castiel had exposed a bit more of Sam’s current doings, but she needed to know sooner or later.

[/img] Jessica frowned and a sadness wafted over her when she heard that Sam had never finished his schooling. She’d had such high hopes for Sam. He was so talented and smart and she just knew that he would have been an amazing lawyer. “ He…he didn’t finish? What is he doing now? Do you know?” she asked, lowering her hand from her throat and trying to regain her composure. She almost didn’t care if this man really knew what Sam was doing or not – she just felt the need to hear something about him, whether it was true or not. Jessica had been doing her best to not think about Sam too much since she came back. She didn’t want to think about the very possible reality that he had moved on from her…or even died. She eyed the man named Castiel carefully. In all of her Christian studies, she had never heard of angels inhabiting the bodies of humans before. “ How do I know you’re telling the truth?” she asked, tilting her head to the side, skeptically. Her eyes widened as she took in what Castiel said. She remembered some brief references to something called a Leviathan in the Bible, but she never really thought there was any truth to it. “ Wait, what do the Leviathans want with the Winchesters?” she asking, clutching her Bible for support. After all, all that she knew about the Winchesters, they were just a normal family. They were a little broken, but normal. Jessica was pulled out of her thoughts when Castiel referenced her death. A demon. A demon had killed her. She had trouble wrapping her head around the fact that things like demons existed let alone that there was one that had killed her. Her frown returned when she heard Castiel say what Sam was doing now. He was a hunter. She turned around and dropped back down onto the pew, not quite sure what to say next. " Is he safe?" she asked, not turning back to look at the angel.[/blockquote]

At the mention of Sam Winchester never finishing Law school, her face became overwhelmed with sadness and his head tilted in confusion. What Sam was doing now was much more useful than being a lying supporter for murders just because they know how to use their words correctly. Castiel looked into her mind to see their past together, Sam and her, and how she was always very supportive of his schooling and had very high hopes for him. Castiel could see how much she used to love him and perhaps still even did now. She questioned sadly about him not finishing and then asked what he was doing now and if he knew. Cas lowered his head and sighed, he might as well tell her about everything instead of keeping her in the dark about everything. ”No he didn’t finish...it was after you...died that he joined with Dean and became a hunter of those creatures I mentioned. He is doing an honorable thing..but it has even taken his life a few times.” Now that he opened that can of worms, surely she was going to ask about that.
”He’s a hunter and the Lucifier wanted to use his body as a vessel so that Lucifer could come to earth. In the end, he rejected the offer but it was forced upon him. Lucifer in Sam’s body had been thrown into hell and eventually he was brought back out.” There was much he could go into detail about, but he’d might as well leave that to Sam to explain unless Jessica demanded to know right at the moment. Curious eyes laid on Castiel as she looked skeptical and wondered if he was telling the truth. He then thought of ways to prove it to her. ”Well, this is not the best method but..” He trailed off before disappearing in front of her eyes and ending up behind her in the front of the church. ”This is one of the things I am capable of. If you wish, with a single touch, I can take us to anywhere in the world in less than a moment.”
Cas looked her over, trying to get her to be a believer. ”And if you’re wondering...this is not my true entity. I am in a human vessel myself, a man who prayed for this to happen to him...my true entity would blind you and well as rupture your ear drums.” It was an odd thing to say but it was true. Dean practically went death with the ringing in his ears as Cas tried to contact him in the early days before they officially met. Then she asked what the Leviathans wanted with the Winchesters and he almost laughed before lowering his head a little, watching his step as he walked down the stairs of the church and came close to her again. ”Everybody wants the Winchesters. But they killed their leader Leviathan. The Leviathans never really cared for the Winchesters in the beginning, but since they tried to stop them and their plans, that’s when the Leviathans considered the Winchesters’ enemies.”
Castiel told her the truth in how a demon had killed her. And once she asked if Sam was safe, he nodded. ”Yes, he is with his brother and is safe. He’s been through a lot but him and his brother are doing well. But I have yet to speak with them. Dean and I were trapped in purgatory just recently..and I have much to discuss with them.” He looked to the side, thinking of all of the things that he needed to do as well as discuss with them about all that has been talked about by the angels. The female clutched onto her Bible, and right about now, that was a good idea if Lucifer was ever let out of the cage and onto earth. Castiel then came closer to her once again. ”Look believe me or not, I could take you to them now if you really wanted... I am not a liar. I say things as they are.” Castiel was just wishing she’d get over fearing him and just trust him.

[/img] Her eyes widened when Castiel mentioned that Sam’s current job had taken his life a few times. “ Wh-what? He’s died? More than once?” she asked, a look of complete shock on her face. Back when she had been in college, if someone had said something like that to her, she would call them crazy, but now she was required to believe that perhaps Sam had died more than once. After all, she had been brought back from the dead, too. Still, it was quite a thing to hear. What sort of things had Sam been through since she last saw him? Jessica took a step back. She had no idea anything like this had existed in this world and that someone she cared about had been so involved in something so terrible. “ Lucifer? The devil?” she said, feeling a bit stupid asking the question, when the Lucifer Castiel was referring to was so obviously the devil. Shock can make you say stupid things, though. She looked at Castiel curiously when his statement suddenly trailed off. A small gasp escaped her lips when the man suddenly disappeared. She looked around for him, but she heard his voice come from behind her. Jessica quickly turned around and saw he had somehow teleported to the front of the church. She looked at him, mouth agape as he continued to speak, telling her all about his true form. Jessica didn’t know quite what to think about this news that apparently evil creatures wanted to get the Winchester brothers. She felt like this was so much to take in, so she didn’t bother to ask any more questions. Maybe they would be answered in time, but she almost didn’t want to hear anymore answers for the time being. She still needed time to accept the ones that she had already been given. Jessica turned to look at Castiel when he mentioned purgatory, but she was already feeling overwhelmed with all of this information, so she didn’t bother to acknowledge it. “ Good. I’m-I’m glad he’s safe,” she said with a nod. She was beginning to doubt if she even wanted to see Sam again. There was no way he would be the same Sam she fell in love with after all of that. “ No…no, I believe you, Castiel,” she said, glancing up at him again,” This is all just…it’s a lot to take in at once. ” [/blockquote]

Perhaps he should not have mentioned Sam’s multiple deaths because the current look on her face appeared as if she could not take such information with ease. ”Yes...but not to worry, he seems to always come back. He has the favor of God and even Lucifer..in quite a different manner though.” Castiel uttered out, he was just spilling out all of Sam’s past. But from what he could tell, she knew absolutely nothing about anything and was the furthest from being considered a threat. By the way she spoke his name and the emotions that arose by talking about him, Cas could sense that she still did have heavy feelings for Sam Winchester. As he continued to speak about him, she even took a step back away from him so Castiel shut his mouth, he was never good with talking to people and being so bold and upfront about matters was not helping him any.
Jessica asked if by Lucifer, he meant the Devil and he nodded his head in agreement. Not wanting to speak about things any more deeply than he already had. Giving her proof of his true being by disappearing and the reappearing behind her, standing in front of the church, where the preacher would usually take his post. Her mouth was agape, so it showed that she would not be able to deny what she had just seen right in front of her. The two of them watched one another as Cas explained his true angelic form which was nothing similar to the human vessel that he was occupying right now. Bringing to her attention that Sam was indeed safe, a sense of relief radiated off of her. Castiel was truly getting the aura from her that she was taking in too much and perhaps even growing overwhelmed.
Asking if she needed more proof that he could take her to the Winchesters that moment, she denied it and told him that it was just a lot to take in. Castiel nodded and then said, ”Well. I apologize for saying too much, my people skills are rusty and I am one of the more less human like angels. I apologize for frightening you. Anyways, I have other matters to attend to, if you need to contact me you can always pray for me. But I may not show up instantly...depends on what I am doing at the moment..” Castiel paused and then in a moment before leaving right then and there, attending to other matters with other individuals. To be honest, he felt a little nervous and saddened that he could never get human interactions as a skill.
(Not sure if you want me to end it, but I felt bad for her because she is all overwhelmed and overall maybe not even willing to listen anymore. Let me know!)
