The weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful....

It's that time of year again. The town of Mystic Falls is hosting its annual Winter Wonderland Celebration. Christmas has went and gone. The future is bright with the New Year pong us. The entire town has been invited to welcome in the New Year and enjoy this festive occasion. The council has pulled out all the stops for this celebration, including food, drinks and dancing. So why not enjoy the event and try to forget about all the drama that is going on in our lives.
------- Okay my little beauties. Here is the breakdown for the event. Everyone is is welcome to join the main thread. Here is the twist...We want everyone to interact with character that they would not. Try to meet up with characters that you might not typically interact with. Lets see some Vampire Diaries people drinking and dancing with Supernatural. :D
You don't have to only rp in the main thread here. We all know that multi-character threads can take a while, so feel free to break off into your own threads in the Winter Wonderland Subboard. Above all have fun!

Sam adjusted his suit for the third time in the mirror, grimacing as he did so. Honestly, he could not remember the last time he had worn a suit for anything other than a disguise. Or the last time he had gone on a date. Time for romantic relationships probably should have not worked into Sam's schedule, but he was doing this for Jess. Because he felt as if the chance was a gift that he should have never had after she died on the rooftop.
"Dean, would you hurry up?" Sam shouted in the direction of the bathroom, where Dean was.
Although they had plenty of time, Sam would have preferred not to be late. Dean had been generally supportive about the whole thing, dead girlfriends returning to life and all. But Sam was on edge and whatever Dean was doing in the bathroom was making him feel more hyped up about this whole thing than he should have been. In reality, Dean was not even taking that long, Sam was simply on edge. He had been through much worse and done much worse. Dean's trip to hell by hellhound still haunted him at the thought, along with all the other trips the brothers had taken to various places.
But even then, he had been practically jumping out of his skin since he had found Jess. It was impossible to hide it. It was a similar feeling he'd had whenever Dean returned, or even after the mystery spot. However, that feeling was one he had never displayed in front of Dean, for fear of worrying him and the awkward conversation that would come to be, even if Dean did not do emotions. It was the fear of losing them again. It never got any easier any time somebody died, no matter what they said.
Sam gave up on the suit and lowered his weight into the pathetic mattress that he had claimed as his own, brushing his hands over the comforter while he waited. Part of him was tempted to head down to the Impala himself, but he waited for his older brother anyway, grumbling under his breath the entire time about arriving to dates on time. He supposed it wasn't a real date if you brought your older brother along, but Dean had refused to pass up the chance to get laid and drink at somewhere that was not a shady bar. Besides, perhaps they could find some of the supposed vampires of the town at the event.
"What are you even doing in there?" He grumbled, right before the door opened.
Sam didn't say a word when they climbed into the leather seats of the Impala. After all he had seen, being the boy king and all and all he was capable of with his demon powers, yet the idea of being near..perhaps even dancing with Jessica Moore made him tremble all over again, as if it was their first date all over again. Starting over with a clean slate, he supposed.
He was rather silent until he reached the venue. Another opulent home in the town of Mystic Falls, with stain glass windows glittering with the decorations, snowflakes, the whole bit.
"Can you please behave tonight, Dean?"
He was not sure if managing a relationship with his hunting was going to be impossible, but Sam refused to waste the time that was given to him at all. Jess were on Earth now and that was all that mattered.
Walking in through those doors, Sam found himself for the millionth time after finding Jessica on that beautiful lake, overwhelmed by it all.

The extent of the excitement that Jessica was experiencing could not be put into words. It just seemed so hard to believe that all of this was happening. She chose to believe what the angel, Castiel told her – that this was some sort of second chance that she’d been given. She had shoved the idea that she was brought back for a particular reason to the back of her mind.
She was wearing a bright red dress. It was a halter top with an a-line skirt that reached to the floor. Her curly blonde hair was piled up on her head with a few strands hanging elegantly down in front. Then on her feet, she wore red hells to match her dress. The jewelry she wore was simple: dangly pearl earrings on her ears and a single pearl on a gold chain resting around her neck.
After taking one last look at herself in the mirror, she slipped on a jacket, grabbed her red purse and got into her car to head to the location of the ball. After she shut her car door, she looked around at the decorations of the evening’s events. It was absolutely beautiful! She smiled as she slipped her purse over her shoulder and walked to the ball’s location.
After getting into the building, she dropped her coat off at the coat check-in and began to look around to see if Sam had arrived yet. Jessica quickly saw him lingering by the door. With a grin, she picked up the skirts of her dress and moved over to him. "Sam!" she said happily as she tapped him on the shoulder.
