How the days past. It was another full moon, another dreaded day. It was even more so awkward since Alex had sort of been stand offish since talking to Castiel during the Winter Wonderland. She simply didn’t like that, as both of them refused to tell her why. Brielle was beginning to think that she had done something wrong. He was still there for her, still there every single day. Yet, she could notice the change in him, something was off. Yet every time she mustered up the courage to ask him, nothing came out of her mouth, because she doubted herself. Doubted that he had really been in love with her. This did not change the fact that she was still going to uphold her promise. Just like the previous months of during the full moon, Gabrielle was going to be there for Alex. Even through this rough patch.
She hated to watch him transform. It must have been really painful. She knew that it could even take a couple of hours for the bones to break and reassemble themselves into the shape of the wolf. Brielle almost couldn’t bear the crying out of pain that he did. She knew he was trying to be strong, but in her mind she thought it was just an act. Even though she was an angel, and was pretty much immortal, Brielle was still stuck in her vessel. Normally angels didn’t need sleep or food. Yet she did. She didn’t want to stop and ponder what would happen if her vessel got seriously injured. At least she knew her healing abilities were still there. Still, they didn’t seem to work on the transformation. Gabrielle hated that.
Brielle waited in the corner of the basement until his transformation was complete. Sometimes she had to squeeze her eyes shut and cover her ears. Water leaked out of her eyes several times. Yet, she wasn’t scared of him, she was sad for him. He shouldn’t have to go through this, much less alone. Gabrielle wasn’t even close to finding a cure for him however. After all of her research, and asking allies, nothing had still come up. Didn’t mean she was going to give up trying. Yet, that was the future, and she was focusing on the present.
Gabrielle studied his wolf form carefully, standing back up against the wall. Every time he had become the wolf, he looked irritable and miserable being stuck in the basement. Sure, he had never attacked her. Brielle spent her time telling him stories, but it seemed not even that worked anymore. He was stuck and cooped up in the basement. She knew exactly what he needed. Alex needed to run. At least that is what she thought. Ever so slowly she had made her way to him, making sure to take careful precautions just in case.
“I know exactly what you need, Alex. I thought I should wait until you were in this form before taking you, because I didn’t want you mad at me… but..” She sighed. “You can’t always stay in here. It’s like a bird in a cage. Birds were meant to fly free. Wolves were meant to run.” With that, she held onto his fur as they were no longer in his basement but the forest of Mystic Falls. “Don’t worry, I will keep an eye out for you. You won’t be too fast for me. I’ll keep a watchful eye in the trees. Just please.. stick to running and not killing people.” With that and a sound of ruffled feathers, Brielle perched up into the tree to watch the person she loved in the forest.
[ I had muse to start this. If it’s not okay, just let me know and I’ll change it. ^_^]

[/img] Alex’s fear of harming Brielle had been reaffirmed upon the confrontation with her fellow angel, Castiel. He supposed that it was understandable that Castiel was so protective of Brielle, especially since she seemed to be stuck in a human body. However, the fear was even stronger than ever since he had been warned by an angel to be careful with Brielle. His fear had caused him to distance himself from her a little bit. It wasn’t intentional – he was just terrified of harming her, whether it was physical or emotional. The two of them were in his basement, waiting for the transformation to begin. Despite last month’s transformation going somewhat well, Alex still didn’t like it that she was there. He still thought of his wolf form as something to be ashamed of, no matter what Brielle might say. Alex didn’t want to think that the savage wolf really was him. Perhaps he was in denial, but he didn’t want to think that there was a side of him that was so incredibly dangerous. Alex felt the pain hit and he quickly lowered himself to the floor so that the fall wouldn’t harm him. The involuntary cries of pain came out of his mouth as the transformation started. He slowly but surely felt his human mind weaken as his body began to twist and contort into the wolf’s body. Alex tried to fight it, but the wolf’s mind eventually took over. The wolf raised itself to its feet and examined the being in the room. He recognized her, but decided not to pay her any mind – that is until she moved towards the wolf. The wolf bared its teeth and growled, warning her to stay back. He stopped, though, when she started speaking. The next thing the wolf knew, the other being had grabbed him and they were in a forest somewhere. These two were not in the forest alone, though. There was at least one other person in the area - a hunter. He had heard that there was a werewolf in the area and being the hunter that he was, he wanted to get rid of it. The hunter drew his gun and kept a sharp eye as he walked through the forest.[/blockquote]

Brielle in truth was scared on how mad Alex was going to be in the morning. That was if he could remember the night before. She knew that she was going to have to tell him the truth if he asked, but she thought this is what he needed. Gabrielle didn’t quite understand the separation between man and beast. She firmly believed that Alex was still in there somewhere and that he wasn’t a complete monster. So much so that she didn’t pay any mind when he had growled at her. She just wanted to help him in any way that she could, even if she didn’t know any better. Perhaps she was just trying harder because he had been distancing himself from her. She didn’t understand that. Brielle thought she had done something wrong, so she was trying to continually help to make up for it. Too bad that bringing the wolf to the forest wasn’t exactly a good idea.
Gabrielle kept herself perched up on the branch, eventually sitting down on it. Her eyes stayed on Alex. She thought that the forest would be quiet, empty of anyone that he could hurt. That was, human wise. There was a lot of animals scurrying about, she could sense them. Brielle didn’t know what to think if the wolf decided to hunt something like a deer or rabbit. To her, animals were just like people. She wouldn’t be able to watch. However, she knew that killing a rabbit would be much better than hurting anything or anyone else. She wasn’t going to stop him for that. Besides, wasn’t deer or rabbit something they served for humans to eat anyway? This one just wasn’t cooked…
As Alex’s wolf decided to do whatever he wanted to in the forest, Gabrielle got distracted by the twinkling of stars above. She moved to climb up to the top of the tree, her sight leaving him. She wasn’t too worried, Brielle would be able to sense wherever he was. She trusted that he wasn’t going to hurt anything, he just needed to run. Slowly, she made her way to the top branch, holding onto it to steady herself. True, she could of just teleported out of the way if she fell, but holding it made her feel secure, especially with this human body. Her eyes peered up at the diamonds in the sky with a small smile. Soon it was replaced with a sigh, her mind wandering.
She was never going to be able to go back home to heaven. At least she had Castiel down here on earth. Yet heaven had been her home. Now she was stuck on earth and stuck in her vessel. She didn’t know if she was mortal or could be killed. She had no idea what the future held. She knew that she would most likely be punished if any other angel found her, and apparently Crowley had been looking for her as well. A part of her felt homesick, now more than ever. She had a nice home, but when she had met Alex, a part of her pictured spending her days and nights with him. It was her first time Brielle was experiencing love, and now was sort of feeling heartbreak. She wanted to be in Alex’s arms, but he wasn’t there. He was off running somewhere.
Gabrielle had been too engulfed in her thoughts to realize that Alex wasn’t near her anymore. Not only that but she could sense someone else close to her in the forest. Her eyes peered down to the hunter, some man holding a gun. Immediately panic welled up inside of her. He was looking for Alex, apparently he had been following him for quite some time. “No…” She whispered, before moving to jump down from the tree. Brielle landed on her feet in front of the hunter. “Stop! Please put the weapon away…”

[/img] The wolf raised its nose into the air and sniffed enthusiastically. There were so many scents that he was not used to. Just when he had decided in which direction he wanted to race off to first, he heard a twig snap behind him. He swung his head around and saw another being. The first thing he noticed about this new person was that they had an angry air about them and they had some sort of weapon in their hands. Alex’s wolf mind didn’t know what a gun was, but he could recognize when something was meant to cause him danger. He pulled his head forward, but before he took off running, he caught another scent. It was a human that seemed to be a little further into the forest. He took a moment to lick his lips before racing off, deeper into the forest, after the unarmed human. The hunter took a step back when Brielle landed right in front of him. His shock was quickly replaced by annoyance when he heard what she said. “ Get out of my way, lady,” he said, sidestepping her and racing after his prey. The hunter glanced down, paused and cocked the gun, preparing the silver bullet to be shot. After he did so, he took off running after the wolf. Alex had slowed down his running as he reached the human he was after. He bared his teeth and slowly moved forward, backing her up against a large tree. [/blockquote]

She didn’t realize that Alex was behind her when she jumped down. Brielle didn’t care. What was on her mind right now was to protect him from the person that was hunting him. That was until she could sense another person. It wasn’t just another person, it was a human. The panicked expression only magnified on her face when she realized what was happening. Alex the wolf had ignored the hunter, and caught scent of the human. He had took over towards the girl. No, no, no. This couldn’t be happening. Brielle only wanted Alex to come out to run, not to get into this predicament.
The woman was a jogger. She went to the University of Virginia as a pre-med student. Her name was Jasmine. She had decided to go through the forest that evening for a quick run. It was dark, and she had a vague idea where she was going, but only seemed to get lost more. Jasmine stopped running to give herself a break. Leaning slightly against a tree, she grabbed her water bottle and downed about half of it before wiping the sweat off of her forehead. Taking out her phone, she waited impatiently as it connected to GPS to figure out how to get back to her car. That was until she heard something behind her.
Jasmine turned around to see a wolf standing behind her. She immediately dropped her phone into the damp earth with a gasp. The wolf was baring it’s teeth and walking towards her. Her heart racing, she backed herself right into the tree she had been leaning against, pretty much pinned against it. She was scared, her eyes staring at the wolfs. “Please…” she begged quietly, in between silent sobs. “Please god, someone help me..” Jasmine begged, frozen in fear.
The hunter wanted nothing to do with Brielle, his target was the wolf. Stepping out of the way he took off after the wolf, loading a silver bullet into his gun. “No!” She cried out. Immediately she took off running after him. Seeing the fact that she wasn’t fast as him, Brielle disappeared only to reappear where Alex was. If she could just beat the hunter, then she could stop him. If only that was the least of her problems. Alex currently had some poor woman against a tree. “ALEX NO!” She cried out. Immediately she moved to push the woman out of the way. “Alex do not hurt her please..” Brielle begged. She saw that it wasn’t working and the hunter had made his way onto the scene. No matter the cost, she was going to protect Alex first, waiting until the hunter made his move.

The wolf seemed to feed of the fear from his victim, so he was taking his time in inching towards her, wanting to make her as scared as possible. He completely ignored Brielle when she shoved the jogger to the side and he leaped after his victim. However, just when he was about a foot from attacking the jogger, the hunter fired the gun and the bullet hit Alex in the side. With a whimper, he fell to the ground and the jogger was safe. The hunter took a step forward the wolf, but he quickly jumped up and took off running. Not missing a beat, the hunter chased after him, wanting to finish him off.
He raced through the streets, twisting and turning through the back alleys. Once he was sure that he had lost the hunter, he headed home and got back into the basement right when the second transformation started. Once he was human again, the pain from the bullet didn’t completely register with him. He forced himself up to put his trousers, but he didn’t realize that he’d been shot until he slipped his shirt on. Alex paused and that was really when the pain hit. He gasped and carefully lowered himself to the ground as he examined the wound. Alex bit his lip as he winced. The pain was properly registering with him right then. He glanced down and realized that there was dirt under his fingernails. Pulling his hands up to his face, he examined them. There was no dirt in the basement…what in the world had happened?

She has screwed up. That was it. Brielle should have never let him out. She just thought that it would be a good idea for him to get some fresh air and maybe a run. Just because he was a wolf, didn’t mean he had to be an unhappy one. What she wasn’t expecting was for him to actually want to attack someone. Brielle also didn’t expect that a hunter was wanting to off him. Even though she loved Alex, protecting the jogger was her main priority as well as making sure the hunter didn’t get to him. Gabrielle had shoved the jogger aside, but Alex was fast and had made a jump for it. She was afraid that it was too late and he was going to rip the poor girl to shreds.
The jogger was beyond scared. She had no idea about anything supernatural related, she just wanted to get some fresh air for a jog. Even that, but she didn’t know who the woman was or the man catching up behind her. The woman had been shouting at the wolf, trying to convince it not to attack her. The wolf was obviously not listening. Her heart pounded outside of her chest, and thought it was going to eat her. That was until the man shot the wolf. The wolf whimpered and forgot all about her. The jogger took this as a sign and scrambled back to her feet to take off into the darkness.
“NO!” Brielle shouted out as the hunter shot Alex with a silver bullet. It was then that everything that she had been, everything that was good inside of her was gone. She wasn’t Brielle at that moment in time. No, she was a vengeful angel with her sights set on the hunter. As Alex took off running, so did the hunter. Brielle let them run, flexing her hands in a sudden anger. When the hunter lost track of Alex in the streets, she appeared to him in one of the alleyways. She extended her hand to send the man flying into some garbage pins.
“How dare you!” She cried out, wanting to push him against the brick wall. “He’s a person just like you and me! By shooting him you ticked off one angry angel!” Slowly Brielle moved towards him, not exactly sure what she was going to do to him at that moment, for she was blind with pure anger.
Gabrielle had made her way back to Alex’s house after the encounter with the hunter. She had smudges of dirt on her face and covered up any injuries that she had with her jacket. She appeared at the top of the basement stairs praying that Alex had made it back to the basement. Brielle needed to heal that bullet wound he got, but could she even heal it? She could hardly heal his pain from the transformation. She had no idea if she could do this. She was even more worried that he hadn’t made it back. Brielle hated the thought that he was lying in the street somewhere bleeding to death. She breathed a small sigh of relief to see him there, moving next to him. “Alex.. here, let me see if I can heal you..”
//Permission to shoot her too. >.>
